Clearly communicate AI capabilities

AI-powered services are still relatively new, and helping users understand their capabilities is essential. The system should transparently communicate what AI can assist with to prevent unmet expectations and potential frustration.

Be transparent about quality levels

Monitoring and reporting on the quality of AI services such as accuracy in image recognition allows users to see the service’s performance. This transparency gives clients continuous control over quality standards and insight into any recognition issues that may arise.

Provide contextual suggestions

Tailor AI suggestions to fit the user’s specific context. For instance, after a shelf analysis, AI can suggest reorder quantities to sales representatives to fill gaps, providing just-in-time suggestions that streamline their workflow.

Make AI access simple and seamless

Users shouldn’t lose focus on their tasks to interact with AI. Therefore, the AI assistant should be easy to access and clearly integrated, for example, via a prominent button in the navigation bar or through voice activation.

Empower users with control

AI suggestions may not always meet the user’s needs, so allow users to input data manually or bypass AI suggestions. Additionally, users should be able to adjust AI actions, like correcting product recognition errors on a shelf, enhancing their sense of control. 

Explain AI recommendations

Users feel more confident in AI recommendations when they understand the logic behind them. Therefore, our systems provide information on the decision criteria used to evaluate a client, helping users see what factors influenced the final suggestion.

Offer customizable interaction with AI

Let users decide how they want to interact with AI, whether through voice commands or text, and where the assistant appears within the application. This flexibility fosters trust in the service, which is vital as users adapt to new AI-driven technologies.
